In fact, the CrewMax cab makes the Tundra versatile enough to be a family vehicle. It can seat five or six passengers and lets you pick from several trim levels. Keep in mind that if you pick the CrewMax cabin, you cannot choose the base Tundra trim, the SR. CrewMax models only offer the other five trim levels. In fact, if you want the 2016 Tundra Platinum or 1794 Edition, you have to choose a CrewMax cabin.

CrewMax SR5

The Tundra SR5 with a CrewMax cab gives you an exterior chrome trim, fog lights, variable intermittent windshield wipers, an overhead console, and a rear window that opens with power. Technology includes a 7-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, HD radio, a CD player, a USB port, an auxiliary input jack, Bluetooth, and a rearview camera. It also has heated mirrors, cruise control, and a damped tailgate.

CrewMax Limited

The Limited trim of the CrewMax cab adds front bucket seats with lumbar and height adjustment for the driver, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a bigger gas tank, and a center console. It also gives you 20-inch alloy wheels, automatic dual-zone climate control, an 8-way power seat for the driver, a 4-way power seat for the passenger, leather upholstery and leather on the steering wheel, tie-down cleats, navigation, and 9 speakers total.

CrewMax Platinum

The Platinum trim adds parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot warning, auto-dimming mirrors that power-fold, LED running lights, a sunroof, increased power for the heated and ventilated front seats, 12 speakers of JBL sound, and 20-inch wheels.

CrewMax 1794 Edition

Choosing the Tundra 1794 Edition with the CrewMax cab is similar to the Platinum trim, but with unique styling. This includes a Western-themed interior and chrome elements on the exterior.

CrewMax TRD Pro

The TRD Pro model is designed to travel off-road and builds on the SR5 trim. It gives you movable tie-down cleats for the bed, an 8-way power seat for the driver and 4-way power for the passenger, leather upholstery, a 7-inch touchscreen, navigation, Bilstein shock absorbers, an off-road suspension, and off-road tires.
