Spend A Night Under The Stars At Bergheim Campground

Nestled on the banks of the Guadalupe River, Bergheim Campground is a privately owned campground that offers RV hookups and kayak, canoe, and tube rentals. It’s the perfect spot to spend a night under the stars or enjoy a day relaxing on the river.

Camp Out For The Night

One of the many benefits of Bergheim Campground is that it is a privately owned entity and limits the number of visitors and campers to the site on a daily basis. That means there’s no overcrowding and you can enjoy some true solitude in nature during your stay.

In addition to RV hookups, there are also primitive campsites available for rental. Tent camping runs $20 per night with a $3 per person charge for up to 4 guests. RV camping is $30 per site per night and includes up to four visitors in the vehicle.

Tubing Trips Down the Guadalupe River

One of the most popular attractions offered by Bergheim Campground is a tube trip down the Guadalupe River. The trip features two Class II rapids and takes anywhere from three to four hours depending on the flow of the river and stops along the way. Your journey starts out at the campground and ends 3.8 miles down the river. Bergheim Campground has a shuttle that will pick you up at the end of the journey to take you back to the camping site.

Bottomless tube rentals are available for $18 per trip and tubes with a bottom are available for $20 per trip.

Be a Considerate Camper

So that everyone can enjoy their visit to Bergheim Campground, the proprietors ask that you follow a few simple guidelines including:

  • No firearms
  • Pets allowed by permission only and must be leashed
  • Fires in existing pits only
  • No public intoxication/illegal substances
  • No 4-wheelers, bikes, skateboards, roller blades or roller skates

Following all the campground rules helps keep everyone safe for returns trips for many years to come!
