Cody Jinks Concert Honors Veterans in Boerne

Cody Jinks Veterans Day

Cody Jinks is heading to The Roundup in Boerne on Nov. 11. This Veterans Day concert is dedicated to active duty military personnel, veterans, and their loved ones. Come out for a great concert and honor the sacrifices these men and women have made. General admission is $35 and VIP reserved seats are $95. There will be a full bar plus wine and a beer garden. There will also be food trucks on-site.

This concert is meant to celebrate and support veterans. Look at some ways you can lend your support both at the event and beyond.

Sponsor a Table for Veterans

The Roundup is encouraging people to sponsor tables for veterans and their families. Email if you want to sponsor a table for a veteran from the Fisher House and Veterans of Foreign Wars. You’ll get two VIP tickets, and you’ll get to meet the family you sponsored. You will also get the satisfaction of knowing that you helped a veteran and his or her family members have a great night out in Boerne.

Donate Frequent Flyer Miles

You can donate your frequent flier miles to the Fisher House’s Hero Miles program. Sick, wounded, and injured service members have to get back and forth to VA medical facilities for treatment. Your frequent flier miles will go toward round-trip tickets they can use to go back and forth.

Take Part in the Veterans History Project

Help get veterans’ stories out to the public by participating in the Veterans History Project. This project collects and preserves veterans accounts of the wars they’ve served in. It also makes those stories accessible to the general public. The project is constantly looking for new stories, and you can help. You’ll need to print the Veterans History Project Field Kit and then interview a veteran. You’ll need to send the interview to the Library of Congress, where it will be made available to the public at large.

Whether you attend the Cody Jinks concert or take part in one of the other ways to help veterans, it is important to lend a hand. We are also doing our part. Toyota of Boerne in Boerne, Texas, is sponsoring Turkeys for Troops on Nov. 17. We will give out thousands of turkeys to military personnel as a way to say thank you. But we don’t just give out turkeys. We are also available to show you new and pre-owned Toyotas. Stop by and check out our inventory, and let us help you take one home today.
