Cibolo Creek Brewing Company is locally owned and operated by the Mazour and Wolosin families. Mick and Sonja Mazour moved to town from San Antonio in 1994 with their three children: Megan and twin brothers Josh and Jed. A 2000 graduate of Boerne High School, Josh now serves as the General Manager.
Ty Wolosin married into the family business—he’s Megan’s husband—and he serves as the head brewer. Wolosin came to Boerne from Austin in 2014. Ty started his brewing career at Namaste Brewing/Kamala Brewing at the Whip In in Austin where he and his team took home a gold at the Great American Beer Festival in Colorado and a silver at the World Beer Cup. He’s also owner and operator of Windy Hill Foods, a farm and distribution company specializing in providing sustainable and organic proteins and produce to restaurants from Dallas to San Antonio.
Cibolo Creek Brewing Company’s philosophy is to create approachable standards with the goal of each brew holding relatively true to its style. During the summer months, you’ll find lighter and more refreshing beers amongst the rotation, and during the colder months, the seasonal offerings will become darker and stronger.
The craft beer selection at Cibolo Creek Brewing Company pays homage to the history, landscape, and people of the region, as well as the historical building and location adjacent to Cibolo Creek.
The brewery offers a rotating selection of small batch brews, and the tap menu features several year-round brews including:
- Boerne Blonde
- Weiss’ American Wit
- Creekside IPA (India Pale Ale)
- Three Sister’s Stout
- Theis Amber Lager
Cibolo Creek also offers seasonal selections that frequently change. Stop by to see what’s new this week!
Cibolo Creek Brewing Company also offers a full menu of lunch and dinner selections. From the lighter fare—a market board, chips and salsa, and beer pretzels—to the more complete meals like the Hill Country Quail and the Chicken Fried Chicken Sandwich, there’s something for every craving. You’ll also find traditional bar fare: wings, burgers, street tacos, and chicken salad sliders. And you’ll definitely want to share the famous Cibolo Creek Brewing Chili Cheese Fries covered with house chili and topped with cheese, green onions, and sour cream.
There are healthy options, too! Check out the Mediterranean Quinoa, the Harvest Cobb Salad, or nibble on some hummus served with carrots, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and bread.
