San Antonio Film Festival
The San Antonio Film Festival takes place August 1st – 6th. It attracts film lovers, press, filmmakers, industry leaders, and die-hard fans. The festival brings together scores of new and original film from around the world and showcases them while nurturing, fostering, and developing filmmakers of all ages.
Latin Roots Music and Food Festival
Experience and share in the Latin culture at the 2nd annual Latin Roots Music and Food Festival! This fun festival is held in Maverick Plaza from 12 – 11 PM on August 5th, 2017. Tickets are being sold for those who want to stay after 6 PM for special headliner acts yet to be announced, but admission for before 6 PM is free. Be sure to mark your calendar for this exciting event!
B.I.G. Salsa Festival
The Bail International Grande Salsa Festival is a three-day event starting August 10th. It features great music, as well as other amazing performance arts. Each night is jam packed with dance performances from around the world and concerts featuring great music, both old and new. Social Dancing continues into the wee hours of the morning. Don’t know how to dance? That okay! During the day there are workshops lead by some of the best instructors and choreographers in the industry.
